Two weeks later, and fires are still raging to the north, Sunday was fairly mild but with a thick blanket of haze out on the Old Road.
The even light is a double edged sword, On the one hand, no shadows to worry about. On the other, colours tend to look a bit flatter.
Shutter speeds varied a lot - everything from 1/50th to 1/320th. I didn't take many around 1/320th - because they're are pretty much 100% shots. If I shot you at 320th - you're in the gallery. The full size version is so sharp you could clean a fish with it.
For whatever reason, traffic was fairly light - so only took about 1/2 the shots I would normally take - hence the gallery is a little smaller than normal. Probably a good thing, as there were some predators about,
As with all such images, there's definitely a compromise in clarity with such slow shutter speeds. If I didn't think it "worked", you won't find it here. Am certainly interested in feedback if you have a different opinion. You can contact me though this website or over on facebook.
If you think you like them - you should really buy one (or ten!) - the originals are at least 4000px across, and I absolutely guarantee you'll be happy with the outcome. Taking and editing photos takes a lot of time, the equipment and this website costs money. Yada yada yada. I'm also happy to stylise/re-crop etc anything you buy - just send me an email (or facebook also works)
Note: All images are available for free download - click on the download symbol at the top of the page when viewing a single photo.
Note: Purchased images are all at least 4000px across (about 4-5 times the size you see them in the gallery) and do not have the large watermark.
Winner of the novel helmet attachment award. Very cool.
SBR-4Kx-BIKE--20191124-SBR_3892Too cool!
Predators frighten away prey. Perhaps this is why there weren't so many photo opportunities...

Traffic may have been light, but there were some very nice cars. GT40 anyone?
